Chicken korma

Chicken korma is a rich, fragrant chicken curry made by cooking succulent pieces of chicken in a rich cashew-based sauce.


  • 1kg chicken
  • Whole spice
  • 1tsp red pepper powder
  • 1tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2tsp turmeric powder
  • 2tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1tsp garam masala
  • 10Cashew and 5almonds
  • 2 sliced Onions
  • 5Green chillies
  • Spring onion

How to cook chicken korma

Heat the pan add 1tablespoon of oil add whole spice make it crack add onion and saute it till golden brown, set aside then add chicken in to the oil and fry it until it turned into white add ginger garlic paste, red pepper powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder and cook it for 15 to 20 minutes.

Soaked the cashew and almonds for 20 minutes in Luke warm water.Make a fine paste of fried onions and cashew and almonds. When the chicken gets tender add the paste in to it and cook for 5 more minutes.

Turn off the flame. On the other pan heat the clarif3ied butter (ghee)and fried some lotus seeds (optional) then garnish with fried lotus seeds(makhana).
