Ingredients

  • 2Tablespoon Oil
  • 1teaspoon ghee(optional)
  • 1Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 2 Onion (Chopped)
  • 2Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2Tomato (Chopped)
  • 500gms Spinach
  • 250 coriander
  • 2Cup Water
  • Salt (To Taste)
  • 1pinch of sugar
  • 6Green Chillies (Slit)
  • 1/2Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1Teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1TeaspoonRed Chilli Powder
  • 250gms Paneer (Cut Into ½ Inch Cubes)
  • 1Teaspoon garam masala

How to cook palak paneer

Heat oil in a karahi, add cumin seeds and when they splutter add ginger garlic paste and fry for 5 minutes add chopped onions and fry till translucent.

Now add turmeric powder,coriander powder and red chilli powder. Fry for a minute.Add the tomatoes and saute till soft cook till the masalas are well mixed.

Boil the spinach coriander and 3 green Chillies in 1 cup of water till the leaves are wilted. Drain the water and grind the spinach leaves into a fine paste.

Now add green chilli pureed spinach .

Mix well, cover and cook for a minute on low flame. Add the paneer pieces, mix well and simmer for 5 minutes. Add salt to taste.

Now add some garam masala and serve hot.

Tips:

Added sugar reduced the sourness of spinch and make taste better, use clarified butter it will enhance the flavor.
